Main Components of a Mining Pneumatic Rock Splitter

Power Input and Air Source Processing Unit: Includes an air inlet connector, water separator, pressure reducing valve, and lubricator (often combined as a pneumatic triplet), used to purify, regulate, and lubricate compressed air;

Pneumatic Actuator Cylinder (Cylinder-Piston Assembly): Compressed air drives the piston in high-speed reciprocating motion, generating the impact or thrust required for splitting;

Wedge-Type Rock Splitter (Splitting Head/Splitting Rod): Converts the axial force of the piston into a lateral splitting force through a wedge structure, acting within the pre-drilled rock hole;

Guiding and Positioning Mechanism: Ensures the rock splitter is stably aligned with the pre-split hole; some models include adjustable internal supports or chuck structures;

Control Valve and Piping System: Manually or pneumatically controlled directional valves control the airflow direction, connecting high-pressure hoses to deliver compressed air to the main unit;

Housing and Support Frame: Protects internal components and provides handheld or fixed installation interfaces; mining models typically feature explosion-proof and impact-resistant designs.
