A mining nut cutter, also known as a mining bolt cutter, is an industrial device used to cut rusted nuts under special working conditions. This equipment comes in two types: a split type (model LMPⅡ) and a one-piece type (model LMPⅠ). It is suitable for explosion-proof environments where open flames are strictly prohibited, and can cut nuts without heat or electricity while preserving the integrity of the bolt. The split type uses a hydraulic pump as its power source, with a maximum cutting force of 180kN; the one-piece type has a compact structure, weighing only 6.0kg, making it easy to carry and operate.
In coal mines, railways, and highways, when screws on guardrails are rusted and cannot be removed, a nut cutter can be used for cutting. Nut cutters are available in one-piece and split types; the one-piece type is more convenient and has a simpler structure. The split type can cut some more difficult-to-cut nuts. Nut cutters are also suitable for cement mixing, pipeline industry, tank cleaning, and petrochemicals.
