The Jack as a Standalone Component

A Cable Bolt Tensioning Jack is the actuator half of the tensioning set. It does not run alone; buyers couple it to their own pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, or manual pump, or keep several jacks rotating against one pump. The jack grips the anchor cable, pulls it to the target pre-tightening force, helps the anchor wedges seat, then releases and retracts so the crew can move to the next hole. Many customers order extra jacks because they already own a pump or want a spare on site.

Rated tension runs 200-700 kN across MQ15 through MQ35 models, matching cables from 15.24 mm up to 35 mm. Stroke is 100 mm or 125 mm, center bore 18-38 mm, and jack weight from 15 kg (MQ15-200/63) to 29 kg (MQ35-700/63). The tool anchor bites the repeatedly hardened cable, so wear is the first failure point. The cylinder uses aviation-grade material and process, with a thinner wall at equal strength, and lands 20-30% lighter than comparable jacks. That difference matters when crews carry the tool up and down ramps and through low roadways. The company suggests choosing one size larger than the calculated cable load, so the jack keeps a working margin on site. MOQ is one unit.
