Air Distribution Mechanism:
Type: Typically uses a cup-shaped or ring-shaped valve structure. The valve disc must be sensitive, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and have good sealing performance. This is the "heart" of the pneumatic rock splitter, and its design directly determines the impact frequency and efficiency.
Impact Mechanism:
Core Component: Piston (Impactor). Requires high-strength, high-toughness alloy steel and heat treatment (such as quenching and carburizing) to ensure its wear resistance and fatigue strength.
Tail Sleeve and Drill Rod:
Tail Sleeve: A key component connecting the machine body and the drill rod, with a built-in buffer spring (such as a "dog-tooth spring" or "tower spring") to absorb the reaction force and automatically lock the drill rod. Requires wear resistance and impact resistance.
Drill Rod (Hitman's Chip): The tool that directly contacts the rock, usually made of hexagonal or round alloy steel. The head comes in various forms depending on the rock conditions, such as straight, cross-shaped, or flat shovel-shaped. Requires extremely high hardness and wear resistance.
Lubrication System:
Method: The vast majority use oil lubrication. Typically, a dedicated oil injector (such as an oil slinger or oil cup) mixes oil mist into the compressed air to lubricate moving parts such as cylinders, pistons, and valves.
