Before operation, check the hydraulic oil level. There is a filler cap at the rear of the dual-speed reversing pump; unscrew the cap and check if the oil level is full. If not, add oil as needed. After connecting the hydraulic lines, perform an air purging operation. Loosen the reversing handle on the pump, remove the dust cap, and connect the pump and anchor cable retraction device using a high-pressure hose. Once the connection is secure, rotate the pump handle counterclockwise and crank the handle up and down evenly (manual type), while observing whether the piston extends normally.
For initial use, perform the operation several times to ensure all air is expelled from the device. When retracting the anchor, insert the steel strand into the jack hole and lock it in place. After the hydraulic pump pressurizes to 63 MPa, the retraction cylinder extends, lifting and separating the anchor jacket. Operators must retreat to a safe area at least 3 meters away. Before operation, check that the machinery is in good working order to prevent accidents. Control the piston to reset using the reversing handle. The Yuhua Mine application case shows that a single anchor removal operation can be completed within 10 minutes.
